Blair Bess (Inspector Thomas)
Guest roles include Boston Legal,
Dragnet, ER, The Practice. Voiceover work for American Express,
Hyundai Motors, Carl's Jr., Blockbustervideo, MSNBC,Yamaha, and Serta
as well as numerous documentaries for the History Channel,A&E, and
TLC. Has appeared on stage locally and regionally. Member of Actors
Equity, SAG, and AFTRA (American Federation of Television and Radio
Artists), where he served as a National and Local Board member.
Married with children. A graduate of Vassar College.
Caroline Bielskis (Laura Warwick)
Caroline started pursuing an
acting career just a few years ago. After raising her son, Cole, as a single
mother, and trying other careers; she knows that acting is what she
wants to do with her life.
Caroline has had roles in several films, and on
TV, including "Gilmore Girls", "Star Trek Enterprise", "Passions"; and
"Days Of Our Lives". She has studied with South Coast Repertory
Theater,The Beverly Hills Playhouse, and Margie Haber.
Charlie Fecske (Jan Warwick)
Charlie is an alumni of Hart High School where he was part of productions such as "Bye Bye Birdie", "Suesical the Musical", and "Shrew" (A modern Taming of the Shrew).
This is his first production since he graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy where he studied acting for theatre and film. Charlie is just starting his acting career and is excited to see where the road will lead him.
Daniel Lench (Julian Farrar)
Daniel Lench: Regular REP
theater goers will recognize Daniel from his portrayals of Lt.Col. Jessep
in A Few Good Men and Burton Strauss in Spinning Into Butter, among
many others.
Daniel has several television, film, commercial and web
credits, and realizes just how fortunate he is to continue working in this
zany business.

Lynne McAllen (Miss Bennett)
Lynne's love of theater and film began at age six after attending a school play in San Diego.
She eventually
lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for several decades, appearing in
numerous roles, including Miss Casewell in Agatha Christie's The
Mousetrap; Irene Molloy in Hello Dolly; Mrs. Macafee in Bye Bye Birdie;
and Widow Corney in Oliver.
She acted, sang and danced in 42nd Street,
Funny Girl, Baby, Mame, Evita, and various musical reviews.
Bill Quinn (Henry Angell)
Bill has been honored to appear in
numerous roles on the REP stage. His most recent roles include
Antagonist #2 in "Conflict".
Past favorites include principal roles in "The
Odd Couple", "The Mousetrap", "A Few Good Men" and "The
Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged".
Bill's Film & TV
credits include commercials for Sealy mattresses and Shelter insurance.
He also a.p .p eared on "Untold Stories of the E.R." and "Guilty or
Innocent?".
Christina Rideout (Mrs. Warwick)
Christina has worked and
trained as an actress since the age of 7.
Her most recent roles for the
REP include Gertrude in "Hamlet", Joan in "The Guys", Dean Kenney in
"Spinning Into Butter" and Titania in "A Midsummer Night's Dream".
Christina has worked with the CTG for the past 10 years, as well and is
currently producing a television series,"Medicine Ways". For further info

William O. Ross (Sergeant Cadwallader)
William makes another return to theater with The Unexpected Guest. After a few
years "dabbling" in television (The Practice,TheYoung and The Restless
and The Guardian) and producing a short feature, William returns again
to his roots.
A member ofThe Purple RoseTheatre in Michigan, headed
and owned by Jeff Daniels,William is excited to be ina production for
Repertory East Playhouse. William thanks God for everything and
dedicates his performance to his son,Tigre.
Eric J. Stein (Michael Starkwedder)
Eric J. Stein is pleased to be
back with Repertory East for the fourth time with The Unexpected
Guest. His Rep East story began in May as Assistant Director for their
acclaimed production of Driving Miss Daisy, immediately followed by Rep
East's A Midsummer Night's Dream in which he portrayed Demetrius.
Eric has acted in over 60 plays, including four seasons at the Tony Award
winning Utah Shakespearean Festival playing roles ranging from Claudio
in Much Ado About Nothing to Linus in You're a Good Man, Charlie
Brown.
Eric has directed four films, including the award-winning satire
Bushmen, and ten plays, including an acclaimed production of Much Ado
About Nothing for the Haven Theatre Company in which he also played the role of Dogberry. A lover of improv, Eric has created and directed three successful improv comedy troupes, including Live Nude People (with clothes on).
LAUREN PEARSALL (Stage Manager)
After 5 years of theatre at the CTG, Lauren has moved down the street again for her third REP show. Her first two shows, “A Few Good Men” and the recent “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” were quite fulfilling.
She has been on stage 3 times, but prefers to be backstage and in the tech booth running the lights. Lauren is currently in her second year of schooling at the COC where she also works in the theatre.
“It is a great accomplishment for me to be only 19 and have my own show to run.”
RYAN TODD (Costume Design)
Ryan graduated from the Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago with a B.F.A in Costume Design.
Her theatre design credits include the REP’s The Last Five Years, Spinning Into Butter, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and DePaul University’s Pentecost, Othello, The Waiting Room, There’s a Boy in the Girls’ Bathroom, and Wrestling Season. In addition to costume design, she has also worked as a make-up artist for the past five years.
Ryan’s film credits include "The Thick of It" and "Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World’s End" as a wardrobe production assistant and "Stick It!" as a wardrobe intern.
Steven "Nanook" Burkholder(Sound Design)
Entering his Sixth year with the REP, Nanook is happy to be doing the Sound Design again. Recent designs include, A Few Good Men, and Santaland Diaries. Nanook is also the Resident Sound Designer at Santa Barbara City College.
A Graduate of Cal Arts in Theater Sound, Nanook uses his degree during the day as an Editor at Dog Star Audio in Valencia where they specialize in Audio Restoration and Post Production for Film and TV. Nanook would like to thank his friends and mentors of past and present for helping achieve successes.
Tim Christianson (Lighting Design)
Tim has been the resident lighting designer for The REP since Proof. He has illuminated
the boards for
Proof, Santaland Diaries, A Few Good Men, The Last 5 Years, Spinning Into Butter, and Driving Miss Daisy..
Outside of theater, Tim has also worked in the film and television industry
as a tech for Acey Cecy Lighting, a lighting director for HBO and a master electrician
for the Los Angeles Opera.
He has an associate's degree in audio/radio production
and soon will start at Cal Arts, pursuing a degree in lighting and his hidden
passion, puppetry.

Julie Schnieder (Director)
Julie has been working in the theatre for more
then 30 years - from working behind the scenes to performing on stage. She earned
her BA in theatre arts while working as a teaching assistant directing plays at her
former high school.
She went on to directing scenes at the college level before she
earned her teaching credential. Julie has taught English and drama at both the junior
high and high school levels. She is ecstatic to be fulfilling her dream of directing a show outside of the educational realm.
Julie would like to thank her family, everyone at The REP, and her leading man, Kelley, for helping make her dreams come true.

Falon Feix (Asst. Director)
This is Falon's first show since the reincarnation of
the REP. She previously worked on shows like The Foreigner, Bullshot Crummond,
Prelude to a Kiss, and many others at the SCRT.
A Hart High and CSUN graduate,
Falon is currently working on her teaching credential and hopes to teach high school
theatre. She would like to thank Julie for giving her the opportunity to rediscover her
love for theatre.

Katie Mitchell (Stage Manager/Set Designer)
Katie has stage managed
extensively in Santa Clarita over the past years, including SCRT's versions of "A
Christmas Carol", "Sylvia", and "Crimes of the Heart". In addition she has stage
managed the critically acclaimed "Thevagina Monologues", and more recently the REP's production of "The Last 5 Years", and "Betty's Summer Vacation".
Her most recent Stage Managing position was for Susan Lori Parks' 365 series at the Geffen
Playhouse. She is very happy to be working with the cast and crew of "The
Unexpected Guest" and everyone at Repertory East Playhouse.
She would also like to
thank her mom for always being supportive of her passion, Kelly for being her rock, and Mike for always pushing her to the next level.

Kelley C. Kippen (Lighting
Design)
Kelley C. Kippen brings 15 years of
lighting design experience to the REP and has worked at venues from the Dorothy
Chandler Pavillion to the KodakTheatre. Kelley worked on the daytime soap "Days of
Our Lives" for 10 years and is now at "General Hospital" for ABC.
This is the sixth
show he is lighting for the Rep. His past shows include "Death Trap","Matty" and "Wait
Until Dark" in 2001, for which he received S.C.R.T.'s "OGEE" award for Best Lighting
Designer.
